Gautam R. Morarka
Shri Gautam R. Morarka is a Founder-promoter of Dwarikesh Sugar Industries Ltd. He is a Commerce Graduate and ICWA inter and is a sugar industry veteran with over two decades of Sectoral experience.
He was previously serving as Managing Director on the Board of the Company but owing to his health issues and on medical advice resigned from the board of the Company on April 18, 2018, However he continued to serve as Mentor to the Board from May 07, 2018 till December 31, 2018. Consequent up on recuperation of his health, he is now appointed as Whole Time Director, designated as Executive Chairman on the Board with effect from January 01, 2019.
He is also a recipient of Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award for Management, coveted Bhamasha Award, Indira Gandhi Sadbhavna Award and Swami Krishnanand Saraswati Purashkar.
K. N. Prithviraj
Mr. Prithviraj is a brilliant academician and a former banker. He is an economics graduate from Madras University. He was also a research fellow of department of economies, University of Madras. He has done his CAIIB (I) and his areas of specialisation include Banking – Economics – Management. He was associated with Institutions of repute such as OBC, UBI, PNB & Oriental Insurance Company. He last held the coveted position of chairman & managing director of Oriental Bank of Commerce. He is presently an administrator of SUTI (Special Undertaking of UTI) and is also on the board of many companies such as Axis Bank, Surana Ind. Ltd, Falcon Tyres Ltd, Brickwork Ratings India Pvt. Ltd.B. K. Agarwal(Ceased w.e.f. October 28, 2022)
He is a retired IAS of 1967 batch and holds a degree in commerce and law. He was awarded the Laxmi Narain Prize for securing highest marks in banking in the Pune University. He was the secretary (Transport) and secretary (Industries) in Maharashtra. During his tenure of service with government, he was representative of Govt. of Maharashtra on the Board of Bombay Stock Exchange from 1994-1995. He has been on the board of Industrial Investment Bank of India, SIDBI, SICOM and was also managing director of the Maharashtra State Financial Corporation. He retired as additional chief secretary, govt. of Maharashtra in August 2002.
Nina Chatrath(Ms.)
Ms. Chatrath has been inducted as Independent Woman Director on the Board on February 4, 2017 to fill in the casual vacancy caused by sad demise of Ms. Malathi Mohan. Ms. Chatrath is a founder of Enhance Consulting, a boutique leadership consulting firm based in New Delhi. Ms. Chatrath holds a bachelor of commerce degree from Delhi University, with business management and hotel management qualifications. She has over twenty years of business and consulting experience.
B. J. Maheshwari
Shri B J Maheshwari has been inducted on the Board w.e.f. 1st May, 2009 & been appointed as ” Managing Director & Company Secretary cum CCO. He has been associated with Company since 1st October, 1994 and has more than 27 years of experience in handling the company law matters, secretarial matters, listing requirements & compliances, taxation (Direct and Indirect) & legal and administrative matters etc. He holds dual professional degrees as a Chartered Accountant & a Company Secretary. In the meeting of the Board of Directors held on May 07, 2018, he has been re designated as Managing Director & CS cum CCO.
Vijay S. Banka
Shri Vijay S Banka has been inducted on the Board w.e.f. 1st May, 2009 & been appointed as ” Managing Director”. He has been associated with company since 7th September, 2007 and has more than 26 years of experience in handling Finance, Accounts and Treasury Functions. He holds professional degree as a Chartered Accountant. In the meeting of the Board of Directors held on May 07, 2018, he has been re designated as Managing Director & CFO. He has been re-designated as Managing Director in the Board Meeting held on August 07, 2018.
Gopal B. Hosur
Gopal B. Hosur is a retd. IPS Officer. He has been in Public service for the last 36 years and have made contributions to good governance in the core area of Law and Order, Crime and in administration of Criminal Justice System. The focus was to redress grievances of law abiding citizens and provide a safe and secure environment. Later on, had a 5 year stint with JSW Steel, a large corporate which is contributing to the growth of nation’s economy.
Rajan K. Medhekar
Rajan K. Medhekar is a retd. IPS Officer. He has an officer of the premier Indian Police Service (IPS, 1975 Batch) for 37 years he served with distinction in several important and sensitive assignments both in his cadre with the Kerala State Police, Government of Kerala and on deputation with the Government of India concluding his career in the IPS as the Director General of the elite National Security Guard (NSG), India’s premier Federal Contingency Special Force for Counter-Terrorism and Anti-Hijack operations.
He also is currently the Director General of the International Institute of Security and Safety Management (IISSM), New Delhi, a not-for-profit, ISO 9001:2015 certified training institution with a 30-year track record as a centre of excellence.
